Ruby Au, M.A., RCC

Ruby is a Registered Clinical Counsellor designated by the
B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors. When you see the RCC designation, you will know that the counselling therapist has met the rigorous academic training, clinical experience, and supervision requirements that are part of the BCACC’s membership criteria. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Ruby is accountable to the Association and to the public through the Association’s Code of Ethical Conduct and Standards of Clinical Practice and its complaints, investigation, and discipline procedures.
Ruby believes each individual is created uniquely as a relational being with unique gifts and strengths. Her passion is to work collaboratively with clients in enhancing their growth and change from where they are to where they want to be by exploring their current challenges, searching for alternatives, and utilizing their inner potentials.
Ruby practices using the integrative approach of diverse theoretical orientations, dynamically integrating concepts and techniques which fit the uniqueness of both her and her client’s personality and style. Ruby’s background and counselling experiences have equipped her to work sensitively with a diverse population of clients.
